Description:
Wax-resin thermal transfer ribbons are suitable for printing at high speed as the printout has very good resistance to smearing and scratching. The printout has better mechanical resistance than when printed with a wax ribbon, enabling the possibility for printing rotated barcodes. Wax-resin thermal transfer ribbons are designed for use with low-absorbing materials such as gloss papers and foils (polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, etc.), but they may be also used with uncoated papers, especially when very good resistance to smearing and smudging is required.
Wax-resin thermal transfer ribbons can be used by both flat-head and near-edge printers.
