The TDP-225 direct thermal label printer was designed by TSC for exceptional durability, innovation and reliability. The compact desktop device features a high-performance engine which makes it ideally suited for the retail environment and other general labeling applications.

The TSC TDP-225 prints at 5 inches per second. It is the first inexpensive compact 2-inch desktop label printer with an optional LCD screen for simple print job status tracking. Other excellent features include a low-cost internal Ethernet adapter for simple integration into networks as well as an optional keyboard for label printing during downtime or stand-alone circumstances.

Built without any losable parts, the compact-sized label printer fits into small spaces and is ideal for many different types of labeling applications. Its convenient double-walled clamshell design allows operators to open the cover and simply place the 5-inch OD roll with labels into a 5-inch spring-loaded label media bay. The label printer features standard top-of-form sensing by gap, black mark or notch. The black mark sensor is fully adjustable from side to side.

With advanced electronics, the TDP-225 printer has a 200 MHz processor, standard 4MB Flash memory, 8 MB SDRAM and a MicroSD slot that boosts Flash storage up to 4 GB. The desktop label printer supports Eltron® and Zebra® languages and standard industry emulations.
