Technology

The Oki Pro 1050 printing technology resembles that of laser printers.  Characteristic for this process is that dry toner is melted onto the surface of the label substrate via a thermal module. This technology is what allows the label printer to print in opaque white on color or transparent label media.

It also ensures high resolution printing of even more intricate and precise imprints on roll labels which can be rewound or automatically cut into single sheets.

Digital LED label printing demands less space, making it possible for the printer to have a compact design and construction. It also makes it more energy-efficient and eco-friendly, because it uses substantially smaller amounts of raw materials, and uses less energy during the label production process. The OKI Pro1050 color label printer can be configured in minutes, with its flexible setup requiring minimal operator training.

Software

The five-color label printer OKI Pro1050 works well with a wide range of label design software such as NiceLabel Free (DTM edition) and BarTender, and with graphic design applications like Adobe Illustrator and similar software. NiceLabel Free (DTM Edition) makes label design and variable data importing and printing very simple and intuitive.
