It offers a set of improvements, including more secure and adaptable opportunities for wireless connectivity, allowing greater enterprise mobility management capabilities. Another exciting advancement is the upgraded printhead management mechanism which protects against errors and betters the quality of the printed labels.
The industrial printers from the MH, MX and PEX series have been improved by adding new electronics. They also received evolutionary upgrades to their performance characteristics.

The new and upgraded printers have improved and additional powerful wireless connectivity options, including combination wireless 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth® 4.2 modules, which are specifically designed for fast roaming and greater productivity. The upgraded connectivity features work well in Wi-Fi networks with multiple access points to ensure that no data is lost when moving around a facility and crossing from one access point to another.
The improved printers are also compatible with SOTI Connect, an enterprise mobility management software for greater access to real-time data on the health, settings and performance of all printers. The SOTI Connect remote printer management platform gives you the ability to manage and configure settings on thousands of industrial printers from a single touchpoint from anywhere in the world.
Manage and Replace Printheads in Advance in order to Reduce Downtime
Printhead management has also been significantly upgraded across all upcoming models to feature active dot check and improved printhead mechanisms. Users will receive a warning to replace a faulty printhead in advance and avoid downtime across all upgraded TSC printers.
The upgraded printheads include another new feature for storing data about their usage. This allows users to have clear evidence of their printhead’s condition. The ability to monitor its condition directly on the replaceable printhead mechanism makes the improved models an attractive option for customers looking to upgrade their existing printers.
